Playing concerts is for me a tremendously rewarding experience and has allowed me to move an audience in ways I could not have anticipated. It is a great privilege to be a concert musician. I was attracted to performing since I was a teenager, but later in life with more maturity I began to appreciate that my enjoyment of performing was thanks to my teachers who nurtured me and developed my potential. I then came to understand the importance of teaching, and I became inspired to develop my ability to work with students.

As a teacher, I try to inspire the passion and joy that music brings to my life, and show that with correct instruction and discipline anyone can become an accomplished guitarist and musician. I work with my students to unleash their full potential by encouraging a routine of practicing and creative thinking.
